Poly V Belt
Poly V belt, also known as composite V-belt, is a new type of transmission belt. It is an annular belt with several longitudinal triangular wedges under the flat belt matrix. The wedge surface is the working surface. It has been widely used, especially for transmission requiring more V-belts or wheel axis perpendicular to the ground.
Poly V belts can be divided into two categories according to their applications: industrial Poly-V belts and automotive Poly-V belts. The design method and the evaluation method of the physical and transmission performance of the belt are also different due to the different application requirements.
Structure of V-ribbed belt
Multi wedge belt is a friction transmission belt developed by combining the softness of flat belt and the wedge tightening effect of V-belt. It is mainly composed of top cloth (surface fabric), top glue, buffer glue (rubber bonding), wire rope (tensile body) and bottom glue (rubber wedge). Each structure functions as surface fabric: heat resistance, oil resistance, wear resistance and crack prevention.
The technical parameters of the multi wedge belt include bandwidth, belt height, tooth height, wedge distance, wedge angle, wedge low radius, wedge top radius, etc. (Take car PK belt as an example: wedge distance Pb 3.56mm, wedge angle 40 degree , belt height H 6.0/4.0mm, tooth height 2.5/2.0mm.)
